We are pleased to announce the inaugural Cold Spring Harbor Asia Symposium on Design & Synthesis of Biological Systems which will be held at the Suzhou Dushu Lake Conference Center in Suzhou, China. The conference will begin at 7:00pm on the evening of Monday November 7, and will conclude after lunch on Friday November 11, 2011.
This conference is similar in design to the famous Cold Spring Harbor meetings series, a program now in its 76th year. The conference will include eight oral sessions and one poster session covering the latest findings across many topics in synthetic biology research. Many talks will be selected from the openly submitted abstracts on the basis of scientific merit and relevance. Social events throughout the conference provide ample opportunity for informal interactions.
Topics:
★ Building and Designing Genomes Prokaryotic Genetic Circuits
★ Eukaryotic Genetic Circuits
★ Metabolic Engineering
★ Modeling Biological Systems
★ Designing with RNA
★ Biofuels and Sustainability
★ Design and Plants
★ Synthetic Populations
★ Synthetic cells and organelles
★ Biofabs and the view from industry
